2/5/2017 “I’m the one that’s got to die when it’s time for me to die, so let me live my life the way I want to.” – Jimi Hendrix Photographer Unknown

via Let Me — eyes + words  (Thank you for the inspiration)

If you’re not sure or are lacking, here is your chance to change.

Hendrix was deeply intimate.

Intimate with his life. His life was his most satiated lover.

How can that be, most may wonder, when he died so young?

We tend to feel jilted and dismayed when someone chooses to exit this world ‘young’ as opposed to living till our bodies have run the long distance.

Have they not too lived long meaningful lives?

Don’t judge another for what they choose to find meaningful about their lives. Life is your greatest love and can be the most gratifying relationship as long as you keep everyone else out of your affair.

Your life experience is your most intimate relationship.

Be a part of it as you feel, for as long as you feel, with as much passion as you feel, or not.

It is your relationship. You nurture it as you see fit and then when you are done with it, leave it as you lived it – of your own choosing.

  1. Absa-damn-loutly! We are spirits living in human form. Our physical bodies may fall away to nothingness, but our spirits live on in our contributions. Music, Art, Poetry, Invention, Story-telling, etc. Since we only have so much time to exist on this plane, I personally want to live as Jill Scott sings about doing it…”Living Life Like It’s Golden! I’m happy to share my energy with most whomever needs it. What I’m not prepared to do is give it all away, or have a discussion about the way I choose to use it. And so it is!
